A substantial amount of machinery, including diesel generator sets, is often sited in purpose-built plant rooms. This causes two potential problems:

The enclosed plant will require ventilation to enable it to operate to its full potential.

Care must be taken to prevent the build up of noise which may cause problems in the area adjacent to the plant room.

We can provide a range of products to suit all applications and requirements.

These include:

Acoustic louvers that provide excellent sound attenuation and good protection from the weather.

Splitter attenuators designed and manufactured to the highest possible specifications in order to restore the appropriate level of noise protection.

As well as meeting acoustic requirements, IMS also offers a full range of fixed blade weather louvers. In harsh environments where the climate, location or industrial processes create substantial amounts of dust, extra protection can be provided by motorised louvers (24v DC or 240v AC), a full range of gravity flap louvers, sand trap louvers and penthouse- type louvers.

All of these can be designed and constructed to meet the most stringent requirements at our purpose-built facility in Leicestershire.

Using our own teams of experienced site engineers, IMS are also able to undertake total ‘turn-key’ projects from design through to installation and commissioning.
