Caribbean Installation

For this project, located on the island of Saint Barthélemy, we supplied 6 x 20ft. Acoustic ISO type corrugated container. Each container was supplied with free area floor and removable splitter attenuators, and inclusive of a single access door with fridge-type furniture. Included with the container was a Mild Steel vertically mounted exhaust silencer to achieve 65dB(A) at 1 metre, shot blast & metal sprayed, finished in a heat-resistant paint.

Complementing each silencer was a twin-wall generator exhaust system manufactured to conform to BS EN 1856-1 with AISI 316L Stainless Steel inner and AISI 304 Stainless Steel outer. The contract also included the supply of 1 x 18m high chimney with a 1200mm N.B. windshield from 8mm (min’) thick carbon steel plate constructed in 2No externally flanged sections c/w galvanised bolts. Each sectional length was manufactured to suit 40’ standard ISO Shipping Containers.
