A notable project at Northampton General Hospital exemplifies our comprehensive capabilities. Commencing in the plant room, we implemented an acoustic treatment strategy encompassing room lining, air attenuators with fans, and acoustic doors. Additionally, we installed exhaust silencers with full support work and air inlet fire shutters. The meticulous process extended to all exhaust pipework on three engines, finished with lag and clad.
Beyond the building’s confines, in a separate phase, we conceptualised, produced, delivered, and set up two acoustic enclosures. These structures house Perkins Engines Company Limited 4006 23 TAG3A engines, achieving a sound level of 75db(A) at a meter’s distance.
