Delivering a cutting-edge solution for a renowned global generator rental company, we took on the challenge of designing a retrofit system to mitigate noise at a 50MW gas site in Ireland. Our focus extended beyond reducing exhaust noise from 38 x Jenbacher J420C sets to addressing mechanical noise from the upper container. The innovative modular approach we implemented comprised a range of components:

– 12 x 25-meter chimney stacks with sample platforms and aircraft warning lights

– 38 x 20-foot acoustic containers with splitter attenuators

– 38 x vertically mounted exhaust silencers made of Mild Steel

– 38 x kits of shot blast finished Mild Steel pipework

– 38 x exhaust bellows and container supports

– 38 x ground supports and 80 acoustically lined container side ducts

Our units were engineered for easy disassembly, transport, and reinstallation globally. Alongside supply and delivery, our dedicated team of Service and Project Engineers executed a seamless turnkey installation. The entire project, from design to installation, was successfully completed within the client’s specified lead-time.
