Project Details
- Large-Scale Industrial Exhaust Silencers for UAE Export
- United Arab Emirates
Client Need
In April 2019, IMS was commissioned to design and manufacture two large-scale industrial silencers for a project destined for the United Arab Emirates. The client required robust sound attenuation equipment capable of meeting stringent performance and dimensional specifications for an international installation.
Our Solution
IMS delivered two custom-engineered silencer units:
- 30″ NB MA51 Exhaust Silencer
- Dimensions: 8.2 meters long × 2.2 meters wide
- Weight: Over 5,000 kg
- Purpose: High-performance noise suppression for industrial exhaust applications
- 32″ NB FPS2 Silencer
- Length: 4.7 meters
- Noise Attenuation: Designed to achieve 65 dB(A) at 1 meter
These silencers were designed for maximum efficiency, durability, and compliance with the acoustic and operational demands of the project.
Engineering & Execution
Our engineering team ensured the silencers met all performance and durability requirements. With precise manufacturing and rigorous quality checks, the units were completed and ready for overseas deployment on time.
Sales Engineer Rachel, who led the project, commemorated the moment with a photo beside the finished silencers—showcasing both their massive scale and the pride we take in our work.
Outcome
The silencers were successfully shipped to the UAE, meeting all client specifications and project deadlines. The project reinforced IMS’s capability in delivering large, technically demanding acoustic solutions for global clients.
