As leading manufacturers of exhaust silencers, steam vent silencers, intake attenuators, turbine silencers, heat recovery systems along with certified spark arrester silencers and removable catalytic converter units, IMS can provide a solution for a wide range of industrial applications, including customised solutions to minimise specific or unusual noises. A range of silencers specially designed for the attenuation of noise due to the sudden release of gas or steam under pressure, is also part of the companies substantial portfolio of products. Ancillary equipment such as ducting, pipe work, elbows, flanges and expansion bellows are also provided by the company, either separately or as part of a package with the silencers.
All of the products manufactured can be supplied in various grades of carbon steel or stainless steel and this is usually dictated by the duty requirements and environmental conditions although, sometimes, by customer preference. Complete with its own paint shop, IMS is able to apply surface coatings to improve the corrosion protection properties of its products and to meet the specifications required by its customers.
