An immensely proud day here at IMS HQ. Our 300𝙩𝙝 𝙄𝙈𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤 𝙎𝘾𝙍 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢 has 𝙊𝙁𝙁𝙄𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙔 rolled off the production line!
Dan Gallacher, IMS International Sales Manager commented “With our extensive portfolio of projects, stretching over the past 15 years, and proven SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology operating extensively across the Globe, we look forward to reaching our next milestone which is fast approaching. With a unique and fully bespoke product, backed by a talented design team, we’ll continue to not only cement ourselves as one of the World leaders in airless SCR technology, but with our continual advancement in our technology, we will take our product not only to the next level, but beyond”.

Nitrogen Oxide, aka NOx, is a group of different gases made up of different levels of oxygen and nitrogen. Two of the most common nitrogen oxides, Nitrogen Dioxide and Nitric Oxide NOx, are given off in many forms, such as smog or particles. But what environmental problems are created by Nitrogen Oxide Pollution?
Some examples are the formation of ground level ozone (smog), creation of acid rain and water quality deterioration. In the air, NOx mixes readily with common organic chemicals to form toxic products. All of this causes a gradual rise in global warming which will lead to increased risks to human health, a rise in the sea level, and other adverse changes to plant and animal habitat.

IMS can now supply three major kinds of catalytic converters, each of which are capable of an emission reduction of over 90% in each of the following categories:
𝗜𝗠𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 –Carbon Monoxide (CO) is reduced.
𝗜𝗠𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Carbon Monoxide and Hydrocarbons (HC) are reduced.
𝗜𝗠𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – in addition to CO and HC the level of Nitrous Oxides (NOx) is reduced.
𝗜𝗠𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 is designed bespoke for each application and can be retrofitted to existing Power Generation Equipment.

SCR, selective catalytic reaction is a relatively simple technology.
SCR technology uses reagents like urea, ammonia or AdBlue®, by dosing it into the exhaust gas line to convert NOx into nitrogen (N2), and water (H2O).
Reagent injection works on the principle of ‘airlessly’ injection the chemical by means of a dosing pump. The ‘airless’ Injectors are used to atomize the reagent solution and to ensure even reagent dispersion into the exhaust gas line.

Engineering & Design
Full system manufacture including supply of exhaust silencer if required
Delivery & Installation inclusive of all support framework, dosing system configuration & connection along with internal electrical wiring
Delivery of Urea
Commissioning & Training
All of our systems are completely modular and can be complimented with our range of exhaust silencers configured to your required noise levels along with a range of ancillaries. With everything prefabricated and assembled at our work’s it results in the ULTIMATE ‘plug and play’ system.
By adding the DPF Technology as well as SCR, a Stage II/IIIA engine can be potentially brought to the latest Stage V emissions equivalence for Mobile Generators.
The modular SCR system can be scaled up to suit much larger “Stationary Power” or “Marine Application Engines” as shown in the diagram below.
