IMS are happy to announce that we are now hiring for a Cut & Roll Operator!
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
- Working with flat metal, such as mild and stainless steel, up to 6 millimetres thick
- Following engineering drawings
- Cutting and shaping the metal using a variety of tools, including hand and powered roller machines, guillotines and presses
- Inspecting components produced to make sure they meet quality requirements
- Carrying out basic maintenance on tools and equipment and reporting faults
- Completing records of production.
- Working to safe systems of work and complying with H&S
- Counter balance fork truck to collect materials
The Package:
- 40 hours a week.
- Willing to be flexible with the shift patterns worked for the right candidates (7.30am-4:00pm).
- Regular overtime available when working through big projects.
- Competitive rate of pay up-to £12 an hour – depending on experience
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Free onsite parking available.
